Difficulty of Code Porting

The highlighted address on the left is the multiplayer one of the no hip fire spread addresses and the Zombies one on the right.

Managing to port this is a difficult task since also the default value is different. My program assumes that the default value is identical so it can't find those. If I however remove that condition, I get too many false results. A dilemma. I prefer more errors than more fake successes though

These are probably the cases where you just have to re-make the code or manually struggle your ass off, lol.

I've had this happen to me a few times. I would just copy the values from the left or right of the address in HxD as much as possible without copying too much or too little and still being able to find a match if any, then I'd search for it in the other dump and I'd usually come up with a good match. But this won't work for this code, as all the values around the address are different. Sometimes, it's just the end byte or bit that's different of each 2 bytes of (0-4, 4-8, 8-C, C-F) of an address. I'm still trying to figure out why this is and how we can possibly get around it.
