What I don't get is why they always make those games for 5 year old handicapped gaming n00bs. The levels are piss-easy, the bosses are a joke, the game itself is completely the same as New Super Mario Bros. merged with Super Mario Galaxy or something but mainly Mario Brothers. They seem to make it even easier than ever. I completed half of the game in like 2 hours. Absolutely no creativity involved in the game besides new levels and little details obviously. The 3D effect sucks ass and hurts in the eyes, nobody even uses that. Failed console, this is an upgraded DS so don't call it 3DS.
They really need some new gameplay elements, story and goals instead of the "Bowser kidnaps Peach" shit and Mario advancing in levels and worlds one by one. What happened to Super Mario 64? It was a fantastic game where you could choose which levels you wanted to play, collect stars and had a decent health system but they never went back to being that amazing besides in Super Mario Galaxy.
Also they definitely need to cater to a more mature audience and make the game tougher. Any huge change is better than staying the same, who still wants it like this? Anyway, Nintendo is so stuck in the past that they're like useless now for anyone who has been into gaming for at least a few years because they just re-do everything and call it a day. It's almost a miracle that they're still in business. 40 € for this game? Really...
