It's really simple actually. All you need is 1 HDMI cord (Which it comes with), The Elgato and the connecter cord or the "Power Supply" cord. Lastly you need to make sure your Laptop has a HDMI out port.
Step 1. Place the Micro USB "Power Supply" cord into the PC and the Elgato.
Step 2. Plug in the HDMI cord into the "In" section of the Elgato and the other end of the HDMI into the HDMI out port of your Laptop.
Step 3. Set the Elgato settings to the "Other" setting and play with the quality setting until you do not see any skips in the video.
